Theatrical Lighting

A properly designed theatrical lighting system accomplishes much more than simple illumination. Theatrical lighting systems are used to draw the attention of the audience to a featured area, while distracting their attention from other areas. It is used to create the mood or ambiance in an environment so that your message can be properly received.

The lighting design technicians at Moyers are keenly aware of the importance of a properly designed and installed theatrical lighting system. Predicting the performance of the theatrical lighting system is a critical component of our design service. Similar to our acoustic designs, we use computer-modeling software to analyze the performance of our lighting designs, in the facility, before the first fixture has been installed.
